Due to the RSS issue resolved earlier, I’m reading this post today, being already aware of the fact that the Russian State Duma (the lower House of the Russian Parliament) has passed in the second reading a bill that makes a search for extremist/terrorist/otherwise-forbidden-content a legal offence. Put things in quite some perspective.
(Now, granted, the bill still needs to pass the third reading, then should be vetted by the higher House, and then by the President, but at this point, considering the Russian political situation, any hope on the bill being stalled on any of these stages is on the verge of insanity, really.)
